I'm thrilled to share my journey with you! As a Christian black woman, my path to founding this business has been full of faith, determination, and a healthy dose of humor.
Growing up, I always believed in the transformative power of hair. I saw how a new hairstyle could lift spirits, boost confidence, and make someone feel truly radiant. I mean, who doesn't love a fye hairdo, right? This fascination turned into a passion, and I just KNEW I wanted to make a difference in the beauty industry.
But let's be real, my journey wasn’t all smooth sailing. I went to college and pursued multiple fields of study, searching for my true calling. At times, it felt like I was collecting degrees like Pokémon cards! Despite my efforts, I often doubted myself and wondered if I could really turn my love for hair into a successful business. My faith, however, always reminded me that with God, all things are possible.
Determined to overcome my fears, I took a leap of faith – or more like a giant, nerve-wracking jump. I dove headfirst into the beauty industry, learning everything I could about hair care and styling. I noticed a glaring gap in the market for high-quality, natural-looking hair AND LACE, especially for Black women like myself.
Starting Crown Couture was an adventure. It required countless hours of research, trial and error, and a whole lot of praying. My goal was simple: provide QUALITY hair AND lace that not only enhance beauty but also make every woman feel confident and empowered.
Our SKINLIKE Real HD Lace is a perfect example of this commitment. It’s designed to be ultra-thin, incredibly natural-looking, and suitable for all skin tones. This product, like all of our offerings, is a testament to the hard work, faith, and determination that went into building Crown Couture.
